| Info: | Die Ehrlichkeit des Werdens – [The Honesty of Becoming] is a performance that lasts more than four hours. With my eyes closed, I create an image of my upper body out of clay. The process of several hours in blindness is not only a physical and mental confrontation with myself: By exposing myself to the audience with my eyes closed and thus letting them participate in my process, the performance is a combination of individualization and opening up to fellow human beings. After opening my eyes and taking my first look at my created counterpart, I write with clay on the wall (here translated to English from the original German text): „When are you in, with, near you? Self-cognition results in honesty to your opposite. Close your eyes, open!“. |
